'Beast' is a commercial hit, says TN Theater Association head Tiruppur Subramaniam

The highly anticipated film of Vijay, 'Beast' had hit the big screens two days back, and the film opened with mixed reviews. But the box office numbers are magical even with negative reviews, and it stirred up a puzzle among few. Now, TN Theater Association head Tiruppur Subramaniam calls 'Beast' a commercial hit. In a recent interaction with a Youtube channel, Tiruppur Subramaniam was happy about the response for 'Beast' as it's the first Vijay in two years that has been released with 100% occupancy while 'Master' was released with 50% occupancy last year. 'Beast' early morning shows have been an easy one for office goers, and the film has got a massive opening.

'Beast' has surpassed Rs 100 crores in a quick time to become the all-time fastest Tamil film to achieve the mark, and the film has topped the box office in several locations including Tamil Nadu. Vijay played the role of a RAW agent in 'Beast', which is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, while Anirudh Ravichander's musical has worked very well for the film as his background music elevates the film to a higher level.

On the other hand, the one more big release of the week, 'KGF: Chapter 2' starring Yash is transforming big, and the positive reviews for the film made it gain extra shows in Tamil Nadu.

Vijay’s Next Seals its Release Date

 Tamil star Vijay’s new project under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently at the pre-production stage. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film marks the second time collaboration of the star actor-director duo after the 2021 film, Master. Already reports came out that Trisha is finalized as the female lead opposite Vijay. News also came out that Vijay will be seen as a fifty plus years old gangster in the movie and Bigg Boss Tamil 6 fame Janany is locked for the daughter role in Thalapathy 67.  ‘Varisu’ third single: Thalapathy Vijay in a blissful melody after a long time! Thaman has composed this blissful song, which is called the 'Soul of Varisu', with the lyrics by Vivek. Veteran singer KS Chithra, who is popularly known as 'Chinna Kuyil', crooned this number which depicts a mother's lullaby for her grown son. The lyric video of this two-minute song is very pleasing to the eyes. Jayasudha plays Vijay's mother in the film.
