Thalapathy 66: Vijay Wraps Schedule! Mehreen Pirzada On Board!

Actor Vijay has reportedly completed two schedules of shooting for his upcoming movie Thalapathy 66 (tentative title), for which he was stationed at Hyderabad. Vijay was spotted returning to Chennai recently and this video of him at the airport has since gone viral.
As previously reported, actress Mehreen Pirzada who is currently awaiting the release of F3 is Telugu is said to be the recent addition to Thalapathy 66, which is written and directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Sri Venakteswara Creations. Touted to be a family entertainer with an ensemble of Tamil and Telugu actors, Thalapathy 66 is headed for a Pongal release in January, 2023.

The movie has SS Thaman for music and its first look posters are expected to be unveiled for Vijay's birthday next month. Thalapathy 66 also stars also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, actor Shaam (plays Vijay's elder brother in the movie), Sarathkumar (Vijay's father in Thalapathy 66), Telugu actor Srikanth, actresses Sangeetha, Samyuktha Karthik, Jayasudha among others.

Popular OTT platform bags streaming rights of Varisu and Vaarasudu

 Vijay Thalapathy collaborated with the director Vamsi Paidipally for his upcoming bilingual movie Vaarasudu. The film is being shot in Telugu and Tamil. It is scheduled to hit the screens during Sankranti 2023. The producer of the film Dil Raju is busy closing the non theatrical deals.  The latest news is that the post theatrical streaming rights of the movie have been acquired by the international OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. The film is currently in its shooting phase and it is much awaited. National crush Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead alongside Vijay Thalapathy. Vaarasudu is a proper commercial family entertainer and the film includes a huge cast. The film is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu and Varisu in Tamil. Vaarasudu marks Vijay Thalapathy’s Telugu debut.

Arabic Kuthu, hit song from Vijay's Beast, crosses 200 million views on YouTube

Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, which was released in theatres on April 14, failed to live up to expectations at the box office. It also received largely negative reviews, with critics criticising the middling screenplay. The film, however, garnered attention due to the Arabic Kuthu song. The Anirudh Ravichander-composed peppy track has now reached a major milestone. Beast is an action comedy, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. ARABIC KUTHU MANIA IS STILL RUNNING WILD While Vijay's Beast underperformed at the box office, Arabic Kuthu broke the internet with its catchy beats. The song has now crossed the 200 million views mark on YouTube. Sun Pictures wrote on Twitter that the video "hits the massive 200 million views".
