Vijay and Deepika Padukone cameos in Nayanthara film

If ongoing buzz in the media and the film circle are to be believed, Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay and Bollywood top actress Deepika Padukone have been roped in lady Superstar Nayanthara and Shah Rukh Khan starrer upcoming film Jawan. The sources say that Thalapathy Vijay and Deepika Padukone will play the cameos in Jawan. Atlee is directing this  upcoming drama  and he has made sure that these cameos from Deepika and Vijay come at a perfect time in the film.

The sources say that Shah Rukh and Atlee recently travelled to Hyderabad and met Deepika Padukone. The actress was shooting for Project K with Young Rebel star Prabhas at the time, which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Nag Ashwin. The sources claimed that the role is small but crucial. And she has agreed in principle though the paperwork still remains.

Shah Rukh and Nayanthara starrer Jawan was formally announced earlier this summer. It is produced by Gauri Khan and is directed by Atlee and will hit theatres on 2nd June 2023, in five Indian languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Besides Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Pathaan and Dunki, which will arrive at the theaters next year.

Vijay’s Next Seals its Release Date

 Tamil star Vijay’s new project under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently at the pre-production stage. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film marks the second time collaboration of the star actor-director duo after the 2021 film, Master. Already reports came out that Trisha is finalized as the female lead opposite Vijay. News also came out that Vijay will be seen as a fifty plus years old gangster in the movie and Bigg Boss Tamil 6 fame Janany is locked for the daughter role in Thalapathy 67.  ‘Varisu’ third single: Thalapathy Vijay in a blissful melody after a long time! Thaman has composed this blissful song, which is called the 'Soul of Varisu', with the lyrics by Vivek. Veteran singer KS Chithra, who is popularly known as 'Chinna Kuyil', crooned this number which depicts a mother's lullaby for her grown son. The lyric video of this two-minute song is very pleasing to the eyes. Jayasudha plays Vijay's mother in the film.
