Lyricist Vivek responds to the latest buzz about Vijay's 'Varisu' story

Lyricist Vivek shot to fame with the 'Aalaporan Tamizhan' song in Vijay's 'Mersal', and he has been collaborating with Vijay since then. Lyricist Vivek is next penning the lyrics for songs in Vijay's next film 'Varisu', and he is also writing the Tamil dialogues for the film. One of the reports revealed the story, according to which Vijay plays a secret son of a billionaire, who takes revenge for his father's death and proves his legitimacy. The report went viral, and several Twitteraties shared it on their page. However, lyricist Vivek has responded to a Twitterati and called the user an online deceiver.

Vivek's reply has put an end to the rumours about the 'Varisu' story. Moreover, the film's fourth schedule is taking place at film city in Hyderabad, where Vijay and the lead stars have joined the team for the shoot. The current schedule will be completed by July last week, and the team will then return to Chennai for the next schedule after a short break.

'Varisu' official posters were released on the occasion of Vijay's birthday in June, and the three different posters have built a huge buzz for the film. Vijay is said to be sporting two different looks, while Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady with several popular stars in crucial roles.

Popular OTT platform bags streaming rights of Varisu and Vaarasudu

 Vijay Thalapathy collaborated with the director Vamsi Paidipally for his upcoming bilingual movie Vaarasudu. The film is being shot in Telugu and Tamil. It is scheduled to hit the screens during Sankranti 2023. The producer of the film Dil Raju is busy closing the non theatrical deals.  The latest news is that the post theatrical streaming rights of the movie have been acquired by the international OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. The film is currently in its shooting phase and it is much awaited. National crush Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead alongside Vijay Thalapathy. Vaarasudu is a proper commercial family entertainer and the film includes a huge cast. The film is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu and Varisu in Tamil. Vaarasudu marks Vijay Thalapathy’s Telugu debut.

Arabic Kuthu, hit song from Vijay's Beast, crosses 200 million views on YouTube

Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, which was released in theatres on April 14, failed to live up to expectations at the box office. It also received largely negative reviews, with critics criticising the middling screenplay. The film, however, garnered attention due to the Arabic Kuthu song. The Anirudh Ravichander-composed peppy track has now reached a major milestone. Beast is an action comedy, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
