Vijay to play a never-seen-before character in 'Varisu'

Thalapathy Vijay is next working on 'Varisu', which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally, and the film shooting is progressing briskly, Now, the latest report suggests that Vijay will play a never-seen-before character in 'Varisu'. Vijay plays the role of an application developer in 'Varisu' and his job has a serious connection to the story. Vijay is seen in stylish avatars on the posters. Interestingly, the makers have highlighted V in 'Varisu' posters and there is a reason behind it since the actor's character name in the film is said to be Vijay Rajendran.

Reported to be an emotional family drama, Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady, and the film also has Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Shaam, Yogi Babu, and Srikanth Meka in crucial roles. SJ Suryah is said to be the recent addition to the 'Varisu' cast, and he has reportedly joined the team in Hyderabad yesterday.

Currently the shooting of 'Varisu' is underway in a film city in Hyderabad and the schedule is expected to be wrapped up by next week. The next schedule will happen in Chennai, and it might be a wrap after it. Thaman is scoring the music for the film, and the first single track is expected to be launched next during a special occasion. 'Varisu' is slated to release for Pongal 2023 and the film is expected to clash with another biggie at the box office.

Popular OTT platform bags streaming rights of Varisu and Vaarasudu

 Vijay Thalapathy collaborated with the director Vamsi Paidipally for his upcoming bilingual movie Vaarasudu. The film is being shot in Telugu and Tamil. It is scheduled to hit the screens during Sankranti 2023. The producer of the film Dil Raju is busy closing the non theatrical deals.  The latest news is that the post theatrical streaming rights of the movie have been acquired by the international OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. The film is currently in its shooting phase and it is much awaited. National crush Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead alongside Vijay Thalapathy. Vaarasudu is a proper commercial family entertainer and the film includes a huge cast. The film is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu and Varisu in Tamil. Vaarasudu marks Vijay Thalapathy’s Telugu debut.

Arabic Kuthu, hit song from Vijay's Beast, crosses 200 million views on YouTube

Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, which was released in theatres on April 14, failed to live up to expectations at the box office. It also received largely negative reviews, with critics criticising the middling screenplay. The film, however, garnered attention due to the Arabic Kuthu song. The Anirudh Ravichander-composed peppy track has now reached a major milestone. Beast is an action comedy, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
