'Varisu' box office collection day 11: Vijay starrer mints Rs 6.5 crore

 Vijay starrer 'Varisu' was released in theatres on January 11 worldwide. The film has now crossed the Rs 250 crore club and is still running successfully after 10 days. On day 11 of release, the movie reportedly made Rs 6.5 crore at the box office. It is only after 10 days that the film has made a one-digit crore collection. The film is expected to make a total box office collection of Rs 300 crore by the end of the month as no new releases are scheduled in Tamil. Directed by Vamshi Padipally, the movie started Vijay and Rashmika in the lead roles. The family emotional drama included Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha among others in the supporting cast.Will add this.



'Varisu' has also now become the number three grosser in the UK. The distributors took to soxial media to say that, "Hold on to your seats, #ThalapathyVijay fans! The record-breaking success of #Varisu & #Vaarasadu continues as it crosses the £750k mark at the UK box office, securing its spot as the current 4th highest grossing Tamil film of all time!" .Later they also updated the movie has become the third highest grosser.

Vijay’s Next Seals its Release Date

 Tamil star Vijay’s new project under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently at the pre-production stage. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film marks the second time collaboration of the star actor-director duo after the 2021 film, Master. Already reports came out that Trisha is finalized as the female lead opposite Vijay.  ‘Varisu’ third single: Thalapathy Vijay in a blissful melody after a long time! Thaman has composed this blissful song, which is called the 'Soul of Varisu', with the lyrics by Vivek. Veteran singer KS Chithra, who is popularly known as 'Chinna Kuyil', crooned this number which depicts a mother's lullaby for her grown son. The lyric video of this two-minute song is very pleasing to the eyes. Jayasudha plays Vijay's mother in the film.
