Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Thalapathy 67 titled Leo. Official promo out

 Vijay will soon be seen in Thalapathy 67, one of the biggest films of the year. The flick has garnered a fair deal of attention as it is reportedly set in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which includes Kaithi and Vikram. Now, Thalapathy 67's official title is out. The biggie has been titled Leo. The film is billed as an action-thriller and is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.


On Friday, February 3, Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter to unveil the official title of Thalapathy 67. The film has been titled Leo. The makers shared a promo in which Vijay is seen in an intense and menacing avatar. The mean streak in his eyes is hard to miss. Going by the video, the flick is likely to explore the backstory of Vijay's character and highlight his quest for something 'bloody sweet'.


Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj previously worked together in Master, which did well at the box office. Now, the two have reunited again for Leo, which is progressing at a brisk pace.

Popular OTT platform bags streaming rights of Varisu and Vaarasudu

 Vijay Thalapathy collaborated with the director Vamsi Paidipally for his upcoming bilingual movie Vaarasudu. The film is being shot in Telugu and Tamil. It is scheduled to hit the screens during Sankranti 2023. The producer of the film Dil Raju is busy closing the non theatrical deals.  The latest news is that the post theatrical streaming rights of the movie have been acquired by the international OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. The film is currently in its shooting phase and it is much awaited. National crush Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead alongside Vijay Thalapathy. Vaarasudu is a proper commercial family entertainer and the film includes a huge cast. The film is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu and Varisu in Tamil. Vaarasudu marks Vijay Thalapathy’s Telugu debut.

Arabic Kuthu, hit song from Vijay's Beast, crosses 200 million views on YouTube

Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, which was released in theatres on April 14, failed to live up to expectations at the box office. It also received largely negative reviews, with critics criticising the middling screenplay. The film, however, garnered attention due to the Arabic Kuthu song. The Anirudh Ravichander-composed peppy track has now reached a major milestone. Beast is an action comedy, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. ARABIC KUTHU MANIA IS STILL RUNNING WILD While Vijay's Beast underperformed at the box office, Arabic Kuthu broke the internet with its catchy beats. The song has now crossed the 200 million views mark on YouTube. Sun Pictures wrote on Twitter that the video "hits the massive 200 million views".
