Vijay Thalapathy’s Leo To Be Shot Using RED V-RAPTOR XL

Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Leo has been hitting the headlines ever since the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial went on floors last year in December. Since then, speculations are rife that Leo might be a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Cinematic Universe - LCU. Although, till now there has been no official confirmation regarding the same, fans are waiting with bated breath to learn the latest updates on the upcoming crime action.


The filming of Leo has already started in full swing in the snowy landscape of Kashmir. Now, the film’s cinematographer, Manoj Paramahamsa took Thalapathy Vijay fans by a sweet surprise. He dropped a BTS video of the film’s shoot that was conducted using the popular V-RAPTOR XL - RED Camera.


The V-RAPTOR XL - RED Camera is capable of filming stunning resolutions, up to 6K and 8K. This spectacular device is majorly used in Hollywood productions. For the first time, the camera has been brought to India, for Leo. According to Indiaglitz, the camera is priced at approximately Rs 40 lakhs and might be used to film an intense action sequence.

Vijay’s Next Seals its Release Date

 Tamil star Vijay’s new project under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently at the pre-production stage. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film marks the second time collaboration of the star actor-director duo after the 2021 film, Master. Already reports came out that Trisha is finalized as the female lead opposite Vijay. News also came out that Vijay will be seen as a fifty plus years old gangster in the movie and Bigg Boss Tamil 6 fame Janany is locked for the daughter role in Thalapathy 67. On the other hand, the buzz is also circulating that even Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil will be a part of the film.  ‘Varisu’ third single: Thalapathy Vijay in a blissful melody after a long time! Thaman has composed this blissful song, which is called the 'Soul of Varisu', with the lyrics by Vivek. Veteran singer KS Chithra, who is popularly known as 'Chinna Kuyil', crooned this number which depicts a mother's lullaby for her grown son. The lyric video of this two-minute song is very pleasing to the eyes. Jayasudha plays Vijay's mother in the film.
